Gareth Smith – Group HSQE Manager

“I joined JCA in 2008 as the health & safety manager and my role expanded to encompass the management of the quality management and development of the environmental management systems. The combined job role as group HSQE manager requires an understanding of relevant legislation, guidance information and best practices in a variety of areas to provide support and competent advice to all the JCA companies and Wrenspire projects.

JCA have allowed me to develop my career in health and safety, which lead in turn to gaining ‘chartered member’ status with the Institute of Occupational Health & Safety (CMIOSH) and further train in areas of CDM coordination and fire safety.”
